What are people saying about you? And your work? ๐ค
As we know, 'word of mouth' wins every "How did you hear about us?" survey.
Usually, that's a good thing.
People share the interesting things happening in their lives, and fortunately for us sports and events are natural sources of conversation or social posts.
So we can harness this for a positive effect.
The stories are often shared many times, to a receptive audience, they carry some weight, and, it's all free promotion.

Unfortunately, people like to talk about the problems they have had more than the good things that occur!
We invariably talk about our challenges and dramas as this seems to make for good content on the sidelines, around the school gates, or in the cafรฉsโฆ stories of poor customer service, a travel drama, or... a poor experience weโve had in our sports.
And, as we know, people talk very passionately about the things they are emotionally engaged with - so it makes our sports and events the natural sources for conversation or social postsโฆ

We often focus on what your audiences are seeing and hearing from you, but,
naturally, we donโt control everything in our audience's lives.
Itโs more likely they will see and hear something about what youโre offering from other people or other sources.
Letโs make sure it is something you want to be famous for!
You may be in control of what people are thinking and saying about you, but, if you do need some help influencing what they are feeling and doing, please do let me know.
