Free racquets and balls to use! or bring your own!

PREPARATION
How do I get there?
​
Faraway Tennis Club is also known as Grace Park Hawthorn, which is located at 2 Hilda Cresent in Hawthorn.
​
For this event you are best to drive.
​
Can I park my car?
​
Yes, there will be car parking please take note of parking restrictions and respect the local neighbourhood.
​
What do I wear?
​
Whatever you feel comfortable in for playing tennis.
​
What equipment will I need?
​
Please bring your own racquet, but we will also have plenty of equipment available for you to use, for free.
​
What else do I need?
​
Please bring a drink bottle, some warm clothing and protect yourself from the sun as we will be outdoors.
​
The club cafe will be open but you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks if you wish.
​

PARTICIPATE
What do we do on the day?
​
Please arrive just before 10 am.
We will meet you when you arrive.
​
You can then play on the courts, or you can just explore our club before the activities start.
Just after 10 am, we will start our activities on the courts where you will be guided by our friendly experienced coaches.
​
Tennis-based activities will be provided for all levels of experience and ability.
​
We will complete the on-court activities at around 1130am.
​
We will also have breaks during which you can enjoy our club and the on-site cafe.
​
You are then most welcome to stay and use our facilities after the on-court sessions.
